Hellblazer

 This is the original published art from the DC/Vertigo comic series Hellblazer. The pencils and inks are drawn by hand by Sean Phillips on a piece of approximately 11" x 17" comic art board.  The word balloons are pasted onto the board, as was common practice during this era of art.   

John Constantine visits the site of a bloody 17th century battle and discovers the strange connection between the ghosts that haunt the field, an ongoing confrontation between anarchists and police, and the disappearance twenty years earlier of a friend.  Written by Paul Jenkins in 1995.
