After the main story of every Kill or Be Killed comic, Sean paints a illustration tied to the film that Ed Brubaker discusses as an influence. This hit Image Comics Creator owned series, Kill or Be Killed has been optioned by ‘John Wick’ Director Chad Stahelski to Adapt the series into Film. The film discussed in Issue 2 is Old Boy, which is the subject of Sean's painting.

The painting is done in watercolors and inks by Sean Phillips on 15 X 20" heavy illustration board.
