JULY 20th - OFF TO SAN DIEGO FOR COMIC CON
Hey everyone! I will be away for Comic Con in San Diego this week. If you submit an order, it will be late next week before I'll have the art back to be able to confirm availability. If you are coming out to SDCC, stop by. I'll be at booths 4400 through 4406.

2010 SAN DIEGO COMIC CON INTERNATIONAL NEWS UPDATE July 4th
Splash Page Comic Art will be a vendor at this year's Comic Con as always! We will be in booths 4400 - 4406, taking up half of a 4 booth space that we share with Mike Burkey aka Romitaman.
YES, a select group of Splash Page artists will be appearing and sketching at the booths this year. Right now we are expecting Charlie Adlard, Lee Bermejo, Duncan Fegredo, Sean Phillips, Paolo Rivera, Edgar Salazar and Cameron Stewart.
DUNCAN FEGREDO SDCC Commission Anouncement:
We are taking pre-orders for commissions to be picked up at the San Diego Comic Con. Duncan is doing pencils, inks & inkwash on watercolour paper that is 10x15". These will be 1 figure with background elements (not full backgrounds, more like clouds, shadows etc.) The commissions cost $500, and we are asking for full payment upfront. We are taking a limited amount of commissions now on a first come first serve basis. Click here to see an example piece.
SEAN PHILLIPS SDCC Commission Anouncement:
We are taking pre-orders for commissions to be picked up at the San Diego Comic Con. Sean is doing 1 character full figured painted pieces that are laid out in inks & then painted over with watercolors on 10 X 14" watercolor paper . The commissions cost $500, and we are asking for full payment upfront. We are taking 8 commissions now on a first come first serve basis.
If you are wanting to place art orders from the website, we are willing to deliver the art to the San Diego Comic Con for you to pick up there to avoid shipping charges. Place your order for booth delivery now at booths 4400 to 4406!

Absolute Watchmen Original Color Proofs Available Now!
In 2004, John Higgins was commissioned to re-master the colors for the oversized Absolute Watchmen edition of the series. After the project had been completed, a color proof was printed and sent out to John for each interior page of the book and the colors were checked for accuracy. With Watchmen original published artwork selling for several thousands of dollars per page and more, this is a rare opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece of original Watchmen artwork.
Each color proof is printed on high quality paper that measures 11 X 17”. The date and time of printing, and page number are printed on the top of the proof. The proof will be signed by both Dave Gibbons, and John Higgins, and embossed with a “Watchmen” design seal at the bottom of the page. A certificate of authenticity will be provided for each page purchased.

ARTISTS OF SPLASH PAGE ARTBOOK AVAILABLE STILL!
Splash Page Comic Art has collaborated with 19 of its represented artists to produce its first art-book titled “The Artists of Splash Page Comic Art”. The book features 53 exclusive, fully finished images by a number of the industry’s top artists including a painted front cover by Marvel’s Mythos artist Paolo Rivera, and a painted back cover by Marvel Zombies Artist, Sean Phillips.
“The Artists of Splash Page Comic Art” book will be limited to 3000 copies for $25 + $5 shipping in the US, and $10 for international orders. The first 65 orders will receive a signed, full color post-card sized print of Paolo Rivera's fastball special piece that he did for the artbook.
The artists participating in this project are Charlie Adlard, Lee Bermejo, Mitchell Breitweiser, Dave Bullock, Cliff Chiang, Chris Cross, Duncan Fegredo, Marcelo Frusin, Michael Lark, Paul Lee, Jay Leisten, John Paul Leon, Jorge Lucas, Jim Muniz, Sean Phillips, Pablo Raimondi, Paolo Rivera, Cameron Stewart, and Ben Templesmith. This fantastic group of artists have worked on a number of the hottest titles in the industry by Marvel, DC, Image, IDW and others, as well as many of their own popular creator owned series.
