SAN DIEGO COMIC CON INTERNATIONAL 2008

MIITCHELL BREITWEISER PAINTED COMMISSION LIST OPEN

Mitchell Breitweiser artist of Captain America: The Chosen will be taking a limited number of fully painted commissions to be completed by the San Diego Comic Con 2008 July 23-27.  These are painted in Holbien Gouache on 11x17 acid free, cotton fiber, 2-ply, bristol board.  We will be initially taking a list of 10 sketches for the show.  These will be worked on prior to, and with preference at the SDCC. 

The price will be $250 for a 1 character painting on 11X17 bristol board.  Up to one additional character may be added for an extra charge of $50.

Splash Page will be making our annual appearance at the San Diego Comic Con on July 23 to 27.  We will be located on a main isle F (row 4200) at booths 4203, 4205 & 4207.  We will be joined by Romitaman.com in our booth space this year.  

As of right now Mitchell Breitweiser will be my primary artist sketching and signing at the booth.  Ben Templesmith, and some other artists that I rep will be scheduled for specific times to be announced later.

ARTISTS OF SPLASH PAGE ARTBOOK AVAILABLE STILL!

Splash Page Comic Art has collaborated with 19 of its represented artists to produce its first art-book titled “The Artists of Splash Page Comic Art”.  The book features 53 exclusive, fully finished images by a number of the industry’s top artists including a painted front cover by Marvel’s Mythos artist Paolo Rivera, and a painted back cover by Marvel Zombies Artist, Sean Phillips. 

“The Artists of Splash Page Comic Art” book will be limited to 3000 copies for $30 + $5 shipping in the US, and $10 for international orders.  The first 65 orders will receive a signed, full color post-card sized print of Paolo Rivera's fastball special piece that he did for the artbook.

The artists participating in this project are Charlie Adlard, Lee Bermejo, Mitchell Breitweiser, Dave Bullock, Cliff Chiang, Chris Cross, Duncan Fegredo, Marcelo Frusin, Michael Lark, Paul Lee, Jay Leisten, John Paul Leon, Jorge Lucas, Jim Muniz, Sean Phillips, Pablo Raimondi, Paolo Rivera, Cameron Stewart, and Ben Templesmith.  This fantastic group of artists have worked on a number of the hottest titles in the industry by Marvel, DC, Image, IDW and others, as well as many of their own popular creator owned series.
