Splash Page Welcomes Javier Pulido - Sean Phillips Art Sale & Leandro Fernandez is taking Commissions

I am super excited to WELCOME JAVIER PULIDO to our family or artists that we represent!

I was setting up at San Diego Comic Con for the first time ever in 2003 and two guys came by my booth to look at Michael Lark's original art. They were Marcos Martin and Javier Pulido. They both purchased pages of Michael's and being a fan of both of their art, I asked them if they ever needed someone to sell their originals for them that I would love to work with both of them. They both explained that they do not sell their original art.

Five years ago I started working with Alvaro Lopez, an inker that has worked over both of them. Javier just reached out recently and is reluctantly going to try to sell some originals for a trial time period. Thankfully for me, he's joining the Splash Page family for this trial.

Javier Pulido has been making comics proffesionally for more than twenty years now, almost all of it for the american industry, mainly for Marvel and DC comics. He has been mostly involved in short-term projects, such as the Robin Year One miniseries, the Human Target: Final Cut graphic novel, and the Black Cat miniseries. He also worked on story arcs for different series, including Catwoman over Ed Brubaker scripts, several issues for the Amazing Spider-man series, and the succesfull Hawkeye run from a few years ago. He has also done many guest appereances on many other books: Shade, Captain America, Star Brand, Spider-Man Team Up, Scarlet Witch, Unfollow, Batman B/W, and, very recently, Jessica Jones.

He is also known for two acclaimed full-run series: Human Target, over Peter Milligan's scripts, for Vertigo, and, more recently, She-Hulk, for Marvel.

Javier has previously not made his art available for sale. Here there is a selection of pages from works made during the last ten years, among them several She-Hulk pages, Amazing Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Black Cat and Shade, all of them signed by Javier. Please go check out his gallery here:

LEANDRO FERNANDEZ IS NOW ACCEPTING COMMISSIONS!

Leandro Fernandez artist of The Old Guard, Punisher, Wolverine and much more, is accepting at home commissions for the first time. He has two spots that he'll finish within 1 week if payment is made within a day, and will continue to fit them in with a 2 to 3 month turnaround after he gets his next script. These pieces will be his regular cover quality level work.

The commission choices are:
9X12" art paper: 1 character inked piece with no background $350.

11 X 17" comic art board: 1 character brush & ink with no background $500.
Options for either size of commission:
Additional characters are $150 each.
Optional backgrounds are $350.
