Dalibor Talajic studied at the Music Academy in Zagreb. Before he turned to comic art completely, he had worked for ten years as the clarinet teacher at a music school. His work has been published in several Croatian magazines, such Blue Bird, First Choice, Loaded, Morning Paper, My Beer, Flit, and also the legendary Zagreb fanzine Endem. In 2005, his work was noticed in the United States and his comic 'The Drop', created with Fabian Nicieza, was published in Negative Burn. He also worked on the 'Atheist' series, for which he drew 'Inn Between' together with Mike Raich. Another comic by Talajic was 'Monsters Tale' with Gary Reed for the Summer Special of Negative Burn.
He worked Marvel Comics on a variety of titles. He was the artist of the 'Deadpool' spin-offs 'Deadpool Team-up' and 'Deadpool kills the Marvel Universe', and has also drawn '5 Ronin', 'The Avengers', 'The Bible - the New Testament', 'Ghost Rider' and 'X-Men'. He co-created 'Hit Monkey' with Daniel Way for Marvel in 2010. His recent books were X-Men: Black – Magneto & Old Man Logan #36-38. In 2016, in collaboration with ABC News, Talajić created Madaya Mom, where he illustrated the siege of Madaya based on messages ABC reporters received from within the city.
He has since been working on creator owned books for various companies including HotELL and Black Tape for AWA comics.
