Leandro Fernandez Dawn of DC Primer Art Release
Leandro Fernandez is a comic book artist and creator, born in Argentina.
He has co-created, The Old Guard with Greg Rucka, Image Comics, “American Carnage” with Bryan Hill, DC Vertigo, “The Discipline” and “The Names” with Peter Milligan, DC Vertigo.
The Old Guard was adapted as a movie, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, and was touted by Netflix as their most popular title of the summer quarter with around 78 million subscriber households watching it. Leandro also went on to work on a second mini series titled The Old Guard Force Multiplied & The Old Guard Anthology Tales Through Time!
Leandro has drawn books like "Wolverine: Coyote Crossing" with Greg Rucka; "Northlanders: The Plague Widow"; several books from the Punisher MAX run of Garth Ennis: "The Slavers", "Kitchen Irish", "Up is down, black is white", "Man of Stone", and many others of popular characters like Deadpool, Avengers, Daredevil, New Mutants, Hulk, Conan, etc.
He just worked on a Free Comic Book Day Promotional comic that sets up a lot of what is happening in DC's 2023 storylines called Dawn of DC Primer. It is a 10 page story that he did the pencils and inks on, including this amazing double page spread that features most every DC Superhero.. Here is a link to the pages we just added:
