NEW ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT: We are very excited to announce that we are now working with Jules Mamone aka Femimutancia!  They are an award winning Non Binary artist from Argentina.  They have won the Stimulus Award for Writing promoted by the Bunge and Born Foundation, the Proa Foundation and the newspaper La Nación and won the Somos Illustration "We are contest" organized by the National Bicentennial House in Argentina.

They have written and drawn several graphic novels in Spanish such as Alienígena (2018), Piedra Bruja (2019), Banzai (2021) or La Madriguera (2022).  In 2019, they founded the publishing firm Graphic Feminism. They also participated with a graphic tour in the Documenta fifteen’s family guide.

JUST ADDED FOR COMMISSIONS:

Jacob Phillips is a comic artist and colourist residing in tropical Manchester. He has been drawing his whole life, self publishing first comic ‘Roboy’ at the age of 11 and selling it at Brighton Comic Con. Skip forward some years and today he is the artist on That Texas Blood and The Enfield Gang Massacre with writer Chris Condon and Newburn with Chip Zdarsky and the graphic novel of Francis Ford Coppola’s MEGALOPOLIS as well as being an two times Eisner-Nominated colourist on books such as Reckless, Criminal and Night Fever.

 

Jacob is joining us at NYCC for the fist time and we're taking a Pre-order List for him

Maxi Dall'O

Maxi Dall'O has worked for Aftershock, Massive Publishing and others, including on his creator owned project Kids & Monsters. He has become known for his "Slice of Life" commissions that are extremely popular in the art collectiing community.

Max Fiumara

 

Max has worked for Avatar Press, Marvel, DC and Dark Horse. His titles range from Amazing Spider-man, Namor and Hulk smash Avengers to Lucifer and the zombie tale Black Gas with writer Warren Ellis.He co-created the book Four Eyes with his Spider-man writer Joe Kelly.  He worked for years alongside Mike Mignola in B.P.R.D having shared art duties with his twin brother Sebastian in the ongoing series Abe Sapien.

 

He worked with Jeff Lemire on the Black Hammer mini series Doctor Star and a DC Lucifer series, also sharing duties with his brother.  He is currently working on a Creator Owned series titled The Sacrificers with writer, Rick Remender.

 

Commissions

Max is taking on a few 9x12 (A4) BUST commissions, 1-2 total 9X12 Full Figure (no background) or 11 X 17" Full Figure pieces. (These will NOT be offered at NYCC.  Only Busts will be offered there) 

 

These commissions will only be offered for Pickup at NYCC or shipping after the convention in late Oct.

 

 

Bust Commission prices are:

 

9 X 12" Art Board

Busts $300 - for a single character, head/bust - no background.

 

Full Figure $500  - for a single character.  Additional characters are $125 for each.  NO Backgrounds are offered for this size. 

 

 

11X17" Full Figure prices

 

$750 – for a single character, full body. $350 for a background. Add US$ 150 for one additional character.

FRANCIS PORTELA

Francis has worked for Marvel, on titles like Araña: The heart of the Spider; the miniseries Supervillain Team up: MODOK’s 11; Heroes for Hire; a stint on Black Panther; Wolverine: First Class; and the Halo: Blood Line miniseries.

 

He moved to DC Comics where he runs for the New-52 Legion of Superheroes series and Trinity of Sin: Pandora, also some issues of Animal Man, Batman & Robin, and Green Lantern.

 

At Valiant Entertainment, Francis did the Faith miniseries, arcs in the series Ivar-Timewalker, Generation Zero and Quantum & Woody, and one shots of Archer & Armstrong, Rai and Ninjak.

Nico Di Mattia / Illustrator, cover artist.

In 2007 he received worldwide attention with his videos 

"Speed Painting" on his YouTube channel, becoming the Latin 

American and Argentinian digital artist with the most views 

and subscribers during 2007-2010. He currently working as an 

illustrator of movie posters & comic book covers.

Juan is taking on Bust & Full Figure Commissions at A3 (11.7 X 16.5") and A4 (8.27 X 11.7") on 300 Gr White Art Paper.

The pieces are penciled digitally and printed very lightly onto paper, and hand inked from there using India inks/wash, or color with watercolor.

Leo Sandler is an Argentine comic book artist & illustrator.  He has worked on several graphic novels like Pintamonos , Raymond, Jenůfa (an adaptation of Leoš Janáček’s opera), and La Pasión, all for the Hispanic American market.  He has also worked on several anthology comic books, editorial illustrations and children's books for France, Brazil, Uruguay and Spain.

Bridgit Connell began by self-publishing comics and working on anthologies out of school back in 2010. She has worked at Dark Horse on multiple Lady Baltimore projects with Christopher Golden & Mike Mignola.

Justin Norman goes by the pen name of Moritat professionally as a Comic Artist.  He initially worked professionally for Wizards of the Coast on Magic the Gathering card art, character design and Games Workshop on Warhammer Fantasy & 40K under Justin Norman.  He has worked with DC Comics & Dynamite Comics on a number of titles including The Spirit, All Star Western, DC Rebirth Hellblazer series, Harley Quinn, and Red Sonja.

From Croatia, he collaborated with Darko Macan & worked on a graphic novel in Croatia called "Sophie" and most recently the Creator Owned Mini series Blood Tree with Peter Tomasi published by Image Comics.
