This auction is for the cover art to Daredevil #14.
This auction is for the original cover art for Daredevil Issue 14. Paolo's covers continue to be highly sought after, and sell immediately. After receiving numerous requests for each Daredevil cover Paolo has done, we've decided to give every interested party an opportunity to win the cover. This blind auction will run for 1 week. Each interested party may submit one email bid with their blind offer. No one will be given any other offer attempts or have any knowledge of what the current high bid is. The person with the highest offer at the end of the week period will win the Daredevil Issue 14 cover art.
The minimum bid for the auction is $1500. Shipping of $20 US, and $50 international will be added to the final bid.
Paolo did his layouts digitally, printed them out as bluelines on a piece of 11 X 17" comic art board, and then drew tight pencils over the top of the layouts.
Paolo emailed his Father, the inker, the file, who then printed out the finished pencils using bluelines on a separate 11 X 17" comic art board. Both the pencils and inks for the cover come together in this lot.
Mark Hay, owner of Splash Page Comic Art & Paolo's Original Art Dealer since he broke into the industry, will be running the auction.
